At least 36 kilos of cocaine found off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–At least 36 kilograms of cocaine were found off Davao Oriental on Sunday, Feb. 24.

The P200 million worth of illegal drugs was apart from the 34 kilograms of cocaine  found off Surigao del Sur on the same day.

The illegal drugs off Davao Oriental have been brought to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 11.

President Rodrigo Duterte has said international drug cartels were behind the illegal drugs found floating off Philippine waters.

Philippine National Police Chief Oscar Albayalde said it was possible they were accidentally brought there, or they were really intended there as the Philippines was a known transshipment point for illegal drugs.
