This Holiday season, cardholders are given some ATM card safety tips.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) reminds cardholders to always guard their PIN or personal identification number.
It is also important to handle transactions personally and to protect their ATM card as if its cash.
Authorities also advise cardholders to be always on alert and always think of their safety when using an ATM. It’s a must to check first the safety of the surroundings when using the machine and for any fraudulent devices attached.
Last but not the least, cardholders must keep, at all times, records of their transactions. This will help them check of any suspicious transactions in their account.
