QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) is now conducting security preparations for the second State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Duterte to be held on July 24 at the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City.
NCRPO Chief Oscar Albayalde said they will conduct an anti-crowd disturbance management competition in Rizal Park this weekend.
Security will be tighter during the SONA because there are sensitive issues like the declaration of martial law in Mindanao that could be raised by protesters during the event.
