(Eagle News) — Bacoor City in Cavite has been placed under a state of calamity.
This was following heavy flooding in the city, brought about by monsoon rains in the past few days.
The rains are the result of “Henry” and then “Inday” enhancing the southwest monsoon.
In its latest advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the monsoon rains would prevail over parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, until Saturday.
