MANILA, Philippines – The “Balikatan” exercises 2016 committee is ready if ever the order is issued that said joint military exercises should be conducted in the West Philippine Sea despite the continuous statements of the Armed Forces of the Philippines that said military exercises are in no way connected with the ongoing territorial dispute in the West Philippine Sea.
