San Miguel Beermen won over TNT Katropa to take a 1-0 lead in their best of seven semi-finals series in the 2017 PBA Cup with the score 111-98 on Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Marcio Lassiter of the Beermen scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and five assists while June Mar Fajardo scored 21 points and 8 rebounds and Alex Cabagnot scored 20 points.
Since the first quarter, beermen stood out against the TNT.
The Beermen now have 11 straight wins, beating the old record.
Meanwhile, the next game will be tonight February 9, with Barangay Ginebra and Star Hotshots playing at the Araneta Coliseum.
