Speaker of the House of Representatives Sonny Belmonte is proposing the Php 1, 000 increase in the SSS pension. Belmonte made said proposal despite the presidential veto against the proposed Php 2, 000 increase in the SSS pension.
Belmonte added that said proposal no longer need to pass in the Congress and it is enough that the SSS executives themselves decide on the said increase.
