(Eagle News)– The Bureau of Immigration on Tuesday urged air passengers to be at the airport four hours before their scheduled departures due to state of national emergency.
The declaration requires tighter and much thorough security measures in all airports to avoid any terror attacks.
Passengers would undergo security baggage checks, check-in at their airline counters, and submit themselves to boarding formalities and inspection by immigration officers.
Travelers should be cleared for departure at the immigration counter at least 45 minutes before their flights.
President Rodrigo Duterte declared the country under state of national emergency following the tragic Roxas night market bombing that claimed 14 lives and injured 70.
