(Eagle News)–Australian nun Patricia Fox has lost her appeal for her missionary visa visa to be renewed.
Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said the Bureau of Immigration also submitted its comment on Fox’s petition for review on the deportation order.
“The matter is now submitted for the DOJ’s consideration,” Guevarra said.
Earlier, the BI denied Fox’s motion for reconsideration of a previous decision which also denied her request for a missionary visa extension.
Fox, however, was asked to change the visa she was requesting to a tourist visa.
Fox has been accused of violating the terms of her missionary visa for alleged partisan political activities.
