MANILA, Philippines – In response to the complaint filed against it by a social news site, the Commission on Elections said that it did not receive any payment from the big TV networks regarding the airing of the presidential debate.
COMELEC Chairman Andres Bautista added that it was the networks are the one shouldering the expenses of all the debates and the COMELEC did not pay for any of the expenses.
