(Eagle News) — This photo by Eagle News correspondent Erdz Nolasco shows the 150-meter long Biliran bridge which connects the province of Leyte and Biliran. Built in 1975, it is a favorite tourist spot in the Leyte-Samar region.
Biliran is an island province in the Philippines located in the Eastern Visayas region. It is one of the country’s smallest and newest provinces. Biliran was previously a sub-province of Leyte. It became an independent province in 1992.
