(Eagle News) — The Municipal Trial Court of Binan, Laguna has issued separate bench warrants of arrest against expelled Iglesia Ni Cristo members Lowell Menorca II and Eliodoro Yuson after the two failed to attend the second hearing of the criminal cases filed separately against them

The order dated April 26, 2016 was signed by Binan MTC presiding judge Maria Concepcion M. Serrano-Altea.

The criminal case of Unjust Vexation was filed against Menorca by Victorio Diaz, President of Society of Communicators and Networkers (SCAN) International, Laguna West Chapter, while a similar case was filed against Yuson by Romeo Anthony Pena, a minister of the Iglesia ni Cristo.

Menorca and Yuson have been issuing malicious and slanderous statements through media outlets against the Iglesia ni Cristo and have singled out its Ministers and also the SCAN members.
