VICE President Jejomar Binay still leads the so-called “presidentiables” for 2016 based on a recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) Survey conducted from Nov. 27 to December 1 this year.
Binay got a 37 percent rating, followed by Senator Grace Poe with 21 percent and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas with 13 percent.
Some 1,800 respondents were asked this question: : “According to the Constitution, the term of Pres. Noynoy Aquino is up to 2016 only, and there will be an election for a new president in May 2016. Who do you think are the good leaders who should succeed Pres. Aquino as president? You may give up to three names.”
The survey showed that some eight percent had no one to recommend while 15 percent could not give an answer. The 1,800 respondents were allowed to give up to to three names of their presidential bets.
The poll had a sampling error margin of ±2 percent for national percentages, ±6 percent each for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, and Mindanao and ±3 percent for Visayas.

*Presidential Assistant for Rehabilitation and Recovery Panfilo Lacson (2 percent)
*Senator Loren Legarda (1 percent)
*Senate President Franklin Drilon (1 percent)
*Presidential Assistant for Food Security and Agricultural Modernization Francis Pangilinan (1 percent)
