MANILA, Philippines — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) asked the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) to strictly enforce rules and regulations to all city, district, municipal and provincial jails nationwide.
DILG wanted the jail bureau to conduct frequent and regular search in all jails in the country to search for contraband such as illegal drugs and illegal weapons. (Eagle News Service)
