Massive blast-induced fire at a chemical plant injured four residents in Jilin, northeast China’ Jilin Province on Wednesday night.
The blast occurred at around 19:50, and the fire was put out on early Thursday morning.
After the fire, everything was left in a mess, with flaming debris and broken glass littered on the ground. There was also a pungent smell at scene.
The local environmental protection department has set an alert for potential environmental pollution.
The four injured residents were all being treated in local hospitals. The main storage of chemical plant was isopropanol and trichloro ethylene.
The cause of the incident was still under investigation. (CCTV)
