QUEZON City, Philippines – The Bureau of Customs turned over to the Land Transportation Office 303, 000 license plates despite the fact that its supplier failed to pay taxes on said license plate’s shipment. The BOC and the LTO agreed to implement the intra-government payment of duties and taxes. According to the LTO, said turn-over can help in the reduction of the license plate backlog.
