Bong Go: Communications Secretary Andanar among those probed for questioned P60-million ad project

(Eagle News) — Communications Secretary Martin Andanar will be among those being investigated in connection with the P60-million Department of Tourism advertisements placed in the PTV program of the brothers of Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo.

This is according to Special Assistant to the President Bong Go, who spoke in a radio interview on Wednesday.

“Sa ngayon po, inaalam pa po ng Malacañang iyong buong istorya at nag-aantay ho kami ng report dito, hindi naman masasabing imbestigasyon kaagad ito, inaalam po muna namin ang buong istorya,” Go said.

The Commission on Audit red-flagged the project that saw advertisements placed in the Tulfo brothers’ program “Bitag,” saying it was not backed up by the required documents.

But Teo has denied this was the case, saying the project was made possible by a “government-to-government contract” that was subjected to review by the tourism department’s legal department.
