Bong Go slams Trillanes, Alejano for their remarks on President Duterte’s health

(Eagle News)–Special Assistant to the President Bong Go on Sunday, Aug. 26, slammed Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and Magdalo Rep. Gary Alejano for their comments about President Rodrigo Duterte’s health.

In a statement, Go said the two could join the President in his September 2 to 5 trip to Israel so they could see the trip had nothing to do with the chief executive’s physical condition.

“Pwede naman siyang sumama. He (Alejano) is a congressman..Kung talagang nagpa-check up ang ating Pangulo, sumama na lang sila ni Mr. Trillanes at magpa-check up sila ng mga ulo nila,” Go said.

According to Go, the President was “in tip-top condition” and was able to finish  his term.

“Huwag kayong mag-alala. Sa mga kritiko, baka mauna pa kayo sa kanya,” Go said.

Alejano said in a recent Twitter post that Duterte’s trip was not “about (Overseas Filipino Workers)” but about the President’s health.

Trillanes, on the other hand, said the rumors Duterte had gone into a coma may have been spread by the President’s camp itself to boost Go’s publicity.

Go, who recently joined Davao City Mayor Sarah Duterte-Carpio’s Hugpong ng Pagbabago, is among possible candidates for the 2019 midterm elections.

Trillanes said it would take long before Duterte died as he was “masamang damo.”
