One of the places that are a must-visit is the Boston Freedom Trail. The trail leads you to some of the famous historic places in the city which include the Faneuil Hall and the Paul Revere House. These and more make for a city of great adventure and experience that is Boston.

Considering its narrow streets, Boston is best explored on foot. It boasts of skyscrapers and high-rises clustered, conspicuously, in its financial district. Centuries-old intricate and ornate structures also tower the city, creating a place where cosmopolitan meets colonial culture and history.

Aside from the variety of shops for souvenirs and other fun items, tourists and locals alike flock the restaurants and cafes housed at Quincy Market at Faneuil Hall for international cuisine, and for New England’s famous clam chowder!

As the trail continues to lead you, you may want to visit the Paul Revere House, a national historic landmark. The tour of the colonial house of the American patriot famous for his “midnight ride” educates you on how Revere alerted the colonial army on the approach of British forces before the battles of Lexington and Concord.

At the center of Cambridge is the Harvard Square, a plaza teeming with eclectic shops and other commercial establishments that thrive on its business with university students and tourists.

Worth mentioning, too, is the Boston Marathon Finish Line along Boylston Street. This is the sight of a bombing that shook the city in 2013 that claimed three lives and injured more than 250 people. This marker now serves as a memorial to Boston’s strength, perseverance and resilience.

With its unbreakable spirit, Boston remains a beautiful, developed and intellectual city that has earned its spot among the top cities to visit in the nation.
