Brunei PM arrives in Malaysia for ASEAN meeting

Brunei’s Prime Minister Hassanal Bolkiah arrived in Malaysia on Friday (November 20) ahead of a two-day regional meeting.

Hassanal Bolkiah and wife Pengiran Anak Saleha arrived in Subang Abdul Aziz Shah Airport and were met by Malaysian officials.

Brunei is one of the members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Leaders of the 10-member state regional bloc will meet with their dialogue partners from United States, China, Japan, Australia, India, New Zealand, Russia and South Korea in the ASEAN and East Asia Summit this weekend.

Malaysia is the host of ASEAN in 2015. The meetings are due to conclude on Sunday (November 22). (Reuters)
