Man rescued in Quezon Ave. Underpass

Ferdinand Salas, resident of Riverside, Commonwealth, Quezon City, attempted to jump off the Quezon Avenue underpass due to problems with his wife. He was successfully rescued by the special rescue unit of the Bureau of Fire Protection.

Vendor, victim of hit and run in Quirino Ave.

A 23-year old vendor was a victim of a hit-and-run when he approached a trailer truck in Quirino Ave. According to witnesses, Edmund Francisco was approaching the driver’s side of the truck, when the driver opened the door. When the vendor was near the truck, the driver suddenly closed the door and hit him intentionally. The authorities are still in pursuit of the truck.
