NDRRMC reported that the 5 persons previously reported missing during ‘Basyang” were found near Cebu by two fishermen. They were sent to a hospital to treat their minor injuries.
Convicted Killer Escapes From Michigan Prison
A man serving time for four murders escaped from a Michigan prison last Sunday during Super Bowl weekend . The suspect kidnapped a woman and forced her to drive him to Indiana. The stolen vehicle was found but the convict remains at large. Reports said that he escaped through the perimeter fence of the said prison. Authorities are currently conducting manhunt operations.
Monsoon continues to bring cold mornings to PI
The northeast monsoon will continue to bring in cold mornings according to PAGASA. The temperatures slight increase in the past two days is caused by winds coming from the Pacific bringing a short break in the cold weather. 7 major oil companies in the country raised its oil prices together at around six in the morning. This price hike includes a P0.25 for diesel and P0.10 for gasoline. This is the second week that the 7 major oil companies have raised the prices.
