(Eagle News)–The easterlies are affecting the Philippines. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said as a result, Metro Manila will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. Flashfloods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible. The rest of the country, PAGASA said, will experience the same conditions. Cebu placed under state of calamity due to El Niño

DOH observes slight uptick in COVID-19 cases

(Eagle News)–The Department of Health has observed a slight uptick in COVID-19 cases in the country, although it noted that all Philippine regions remain at low risk for COVID-19.
