South Korean President apologizes for Sewol tragedy

South Korean President Park Gyeun-he apologized for her government’s failure in preventing the ferry Sewol incident last April 16, saying that the initial response have been insufficient. The death toll is now officially at 193. According to various reports, most of the dead or missing were high school students, who were onboard the Sewol for a school field trip. Known cases of MERS-Corona virus reach 339

The number of confirmed cases of persons afflicted with the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome – Corona virus in Saudi Arabia has reached 339, with 26 cases added during the weekend. At least 102 are confirmed dead because of the virus and Saudi Arabia is now asking the World Health Organization for help.
