Thailand bags contract for rice supply
After 20 years, Thailand once again secured the bigger contract of supplying rice to the Philippines. Dengue cases in NCR, decreasing
According to the National Capital Region Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit of the Department of Health, from January 1 to August 30, only 3, 096 dengue cases were recorded. This is a 75% decrease compared to last year’s 12, 473 cases recorded in the same period. Most of the dengue cases in Metro Manila were recorded in Manila with 663 cases, followed by Quezon City, Caloocan City, Las Piñas, Parañaque and Pasig City.
