MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights for Monday, July 13

(Eagle News)—The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Monday, July 13:     All flight schedules may be subject to changes. MIAA said domestic flights are allowed for as  long as there is approval from the local government unit concerned. Non-essential foreign travel by Filipinos is allowed subject to certain conditions. The Department of Foreign Affairs has released its list of travel bans and restrictions across countries.  

Customs bureau intercepts $15700 sent as “personal documents” via courier services

(Eagle News)–The Bureau of Customs has intercepted from a Pasay warehouse over $15,000 misdeclared as personal documents. In a statement, the bureau said the $15700 were discovered on July 10 through an X-ray scan and a physical examination of the package, which arrived at the FedEx warehouse from Durham, United States. LTFRB central office in QC to temporarily suspend ops starting Monday, July 13, after five test positive for COVID-19

BOC: P32.7 million worth of misdeclared cigarettes seized at Manila port

(Eagle News)–Misdeclared cigarettes worth over P32 million were intercepted at a Manila port recently, the Bureau of Customs said. According to the BOC,  the shipment of 1092 cigarettes estimated at P32.7 million was intercepted by  Enforcement and Security Service personnel at the Manila International Container Port on July 2.
