“Domeng” intensifies into tropical storm as it moves over PHL Sea

PHL logs 1,309 additional COVID-19 cases

(Eagle News) — The Philippines logged 1,309 more COVID-19 cases on Thursday, June 30. According to Department of Health data, the additional cases pushed the tally to 3704407. Metro Manila logged the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days, with 4529. Incoming DND OIC Faustino positive for COVID-19

(Eagle News) — Incoming Defense Secretary officer-in-charge Jose Faustino Jr. has tested positive for COVID-19. According to the Department of National Defense, Faustino contracted the virus after coming into close contact with a COVID-19-positive individual in one of his engagements. It said the engagement took place before he assumed office on Thursday, June 20. Faustino is so far in isolation. Contact tracing is ongoing.
