Retired Supreme Court Associate Justice Justo Torres Jr. passes away

(Eagle News) — Retired Supreme Court Associate Justice Justo P. Torres Jr. has died. In a Twitter post, the SC Public Information Office said the 138th Associate Justice died at the age of 90. Torres was appointed to  the High Court by former President Fidel Ramos on March 11, 1996. He served in the SC until November 1, 1997. The SC PIO said Torres was also Philippine Judicial Academy vice chancellor after retiring from the High Court.
