4.9-magnitude quake hits Ilocos Sur
(Eagle News) — A 4.9-magnitude quake struck Ilocos Sur on Thursday. The earthquake struck 43 kilometers northwest of Santa Catalina at 3:06 p.m. Depth of focus was at 25 kilometers. The earthquake was felt at Intensity III in Vigan, and at Intensity V in Sinait, both in Ilocos Sur. An Intensity III was felt in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte. No aftershocks are expected.
