Philippine official says shooting incident near Duterte’s residence under investigation
MANILA, Philippines (Reuters) — Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella told reporters on Tuesday (September 26) an investigation was underway after a shooting incident near the Manila residence of President Rodrigo Duterte. Duterte was not there at the time, officials said. The incident took place in Malacanang Park, the base of Duterte’s guard unit and close to his Bahay ng Pagbabago residence, officials said.
