AFP calms public regarding terrorism

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) issued a statement asking the public to remain calm after the United States issued a travel advisory asking its citizens to be careful regarding terrorist attacks in the Philippines.

Israeli students paint schools in Nueva Ecija

  A humanitarian delegation composed of 40 students went to the Philippines to conduct community work in Nueva Ecija. The Israeli students led educational activities in the Magtangol Integrated School in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija. Said to be the strongest storm this year, tropical cyclone “Ompong” is placed at Category 4. Although already inside the Philippine area of responsibility, there is little chance that “Ompong” will make a landfall, according to PAGASA.
