BFAD recalls eye drops

The Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) issued a recall order on some eye drop products due to a statement of non-compliance with good manufacturing practice issued by the Italian manufacturer of the active ingredient present in said eye drop.

5.7 magnitude quake hits Antique

MANILA, Philippines (ENS) — A 5.7 magnitude quake hit Antique at 4:05 Friday afternoon, Oct. 3, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. The quake’s epicenter was located five kilometers southeast of Culasi, Antique with a depth of 13 kilometers. Philippine militants threaten to behead German hostage

(Reuters) — Al-Qaeda linked Islamist militants in the Philippines said on Thursday (October 2) they will kill one of two German captives on Oct. 17 unless their demands are met. MANILA, Philippines (ENS) — The Office of the Ombudsman found probable cause to indict four former congressmen for misusing Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) worth P244.29 million, using non-government organizations connected to businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles. SUC budget up by P5.2B in 2015 budget- DBM
