Rising casualties due to “Glenda”
The casualties caused by “Glenda” continues to rise, with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council recording 38 deaths, 10 injured and 8 missing. The NDRRMC also reported that 668 million pesos damage in the agricultural damage due to the typhoon.
More areas declare state of calamity
The number of areas that were declared under state of calamity now rise to 10 after the onslaught of Typhoon “Glenda”.
Large percentage of Meralco customers in Metro Manila remain without electricity
In Metro Manila, 19% of Meralco customers remain without electricity as the electric company continues its repairs on damaged electrical posts due to “Glenda”.
“Glenda” injures 5 in Pangasinan
The Typhoon “Glenda” injured 5 in Pangasinan. Also as many as 60 families remain in evacuation centers.
