Former Senator Francis Pangilinan officially joined PNOY’s cabinet on Tuesday after he his oath taking as the country’s newest food and agriculture adviser. According to Memorandum Order (MO) No. 70 which was signed by the President on Monday (May 5), these agencies are the National Food Authority (NFA), National Irrigation Administration (NIA), Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), and Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA).

4 suspected drug pushers arrested in a buy bust operation in Marikina
In a buy-bust operation conducted by Marikina police, together with local government officials, 4 suspected drug pushers were arrested as they were caught in the act of allegedly putting shabu in sachet. 70 grams of shabu worth 29,000 pesos and other drug paraphernalia were confiscated by the police. The buy-bust operation is part of the Marikina City government’s intensified campaign against drug pushers.
