According to Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma, government-owned Malaya I plant will be fully operational in two weeks. The government is also taking measures to avoid electricity price hike this summer with the Department of Energy conducting daily price monitoring to curtail possible abuse.

Man rescued in Quezon Ave. Underpass

Ferdinand Salas, resident of Riverside, Commonwealth, Quezon City, attempted to jump off the Quezon Avenue underpass due to problems with his wife. He was successfully rescued by the special rescue unit of the Bureau of Fire Protection.
