Next school year will start in June 2

The next school year will begin classes on June 2, with a total of 201 school days. The Department of Education clarified that the June-March academic calendar will remain for the pre-school, elementary and high school, despite several universities changing their academic calendar to August -June.

Palace defends constitutionality of Bangsamoro Comprehensive Agreement

The Malacañang respects the view of Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago, wherein the Senator said that the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro between the Government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front is unconstitutional but according to Presidential Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma, every provisions of the said agreement is constitutional, further adding that every member of the Congress has the opportunity to review the Bangsamoro Basic Law once it is proposed.
