(Eagle News) — The Iglesia Ni Cristo is currently conducting its relief distribution program, Lingap sa Mamamayan, to help those affected by typhoon Ompong (Mangkhut) in Itogon, Benguet which was hit by massive landslides that killed at least 19 people, and buried about 40 others which are still missing. The INC volunteers are currently giving out relief bags at the Loacan Elementary School.

Initial estimated pegged the damage to agriculture at more than P370 million. In the Philippines, the over-all damage to agriculture was estimated at more than P14 billion, according to the Department of Agriculture.
