Residents in Barangay Sarmiento in Parang, Maguindanao fear that this post toppled down by the heavy rains brought about by “Paolo” on Wednesday, October 18, will cause fatal accidents. The post–located inside the compound of Sarmiento Central Elementary School in Elementary Zone 1–is owned by Maguindanao Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Magelco). (Eagle News) — Hollywood action star Steven Seagal met with President Rodrigo Duterte in Malacañang on Thursday. Seagal—who is filming scenes in the country for his upcoming series—was accompanied by Governor Chavit Singson, a personal friend. In a press conference on Tuesday, Seagal expressed his admiration for Duterte, who he said was doing all he could to keep the country safe. Seagal is also a fan of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
