(Eagle News)–A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Cagayan on Wednesday, Sept. 30. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 8:49 a.m., had its epicenter 49 kilometers northeast of Babuyan Island. It had a depth of 15 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:52 a.m., had its epicenter 10 kilometers northeast of Alaminos.
