(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Masbate on Wednesday, Sept. 23. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 12:05 p.m., had its epicenter 20 kilometers northwest of Cataingan. It had a depth of 10 kilometers. Thunderstorm advisory raised over parts of Luzon

(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been raised over parts of Luzon. 8 quakes, steam and sulfur dioxide emissions monitored at Kanlaon; alert level 1 stays

(Eagle News)–Eight volcanic earthquakes were monitored at Kanlaon in 24 hours. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said steam and sulfur dioxide emissions were also monitored at the volcano, which remains on alert level 1. 3.9-magnitude quake strikes off Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Wednesday, Sept. 23. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 6:52 a.m., had its epicenter 117 kilometers northeast of Bayabas. PHIVOLCS said this was an aftershock of the 5.7-magnitude quake that struck Bayabas on Tuesday, Sept. 21. The quake had a depth of one kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

3.7-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental early Tuesday

(Eagle News) — A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Tuesday, Sept. 22. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 4:23 a.m., had its epicenter 10 kilometers northeast of Banaybanay. It had a depth of 56 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Monday, Sept. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 7:14 a.m., was an aftershock of the 6.1-magnitude quake that hit the province  early in the day.
