(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake hit Masbate early Tuesday, Aug. 11. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 4:43 a.m., had its epicenter 10 kilometers northeast of Cataingan. It had a depth of 71 kilometers.
