3.9-magnitude quake hits Sulu

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Sulu today. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:13 a.m. It had its epicenter 230 kilometers southeast of Banguigui. Depth of focus was 608 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.3-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Wednesday, June 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 2:58 p.m. It had its epicenter  211 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. The depth was pegged at 129 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Tawi-Tawi early Wednesday, June 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 12:37 a.m., had its epicenter 320 kilometers southeast of South Ubian. Depth of focus was 31 kilometers. Man turns over Burmese python pet to DENR when it grew 10 feet long after 2 years

(Eagle News) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Tuesday, June 2. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 3:12 p.m, had its epicenter 431 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. It had a depth of  44 kilometers. Ridge of HPA extends over N. Luzon; easterlies affect rest of PHL
