PNP: P340,000 worth of shabu seized in Zamboanga City buy-bust; 1 nabbed

(Eagle News) — Authorities seized P340,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Zamboanga City, the Philippine National Police said. According to the PNP,  also arrested during the operation in Barangay Baliwasan on July 6 was  Anersa Aiyadi Hassan. The PNP did not provide additional details about the operation. PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao said, however, that the suspect is now in Zambonga police custody. Criminal charges are set to be filed against her.

PHIVOLCS: Seven volcanic quakes monitored in Kanlaon in past 24 hours

(Eagle News) — Authorities seized P340,000 worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in Talisay City, Cebu on Tuesday, July 6, the Philippine National Police said. According to the PNP, also arrested during the operation in Barangay Bulacao at 12:38 a.m. was Ronnel Ladesma Cabaron, 42. PHIVOLCS: 15 volcanic quakes monitored in Kanlaon in past 24 hours

(Eagle News) — Fifteen volcanic earthquakes were monitored in Kanlaon in the last 24 hours. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, also monitored at the volcano was a weak steam plume. Sulfur dioxide flux was pegged at 151 tons. 4.1-magnitude earthquake strikes Davao del Sur

(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao del Sur on Wednesday, July 6. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 7:53 a.m. The epicenter was six kilometers southwest of Matanao. The following instrumental intensities were recorded: Intensity III – Malungon, Sarangani Intensity II – Kidapawan City, Cotabato Intensity I – Koronadal City, South Cotabato No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

PNP: P408,000 worth of shabu seized in Bacolod City buy-bust; 1 nabbed

(Eagle News) — Authorities seized over P400,000 worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, the Philippine National Police said. (Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Sorsogon early Sunday, July 3. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 3:56 a.m. The epicenter was 18 kilometers northeast of Prieto Diaz. The depth of focus was 10 kilometers.
