(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Tuesday, May 24. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 10:58 a.m. The epicenter was 142 kilometers southeast of Sarangani Island. The depth of focus was 105 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.6-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Monday, May 23. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 1:37 p.m. The epicenter was 238 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was nine kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.  

PNP: P3.4 million worth of shabu seized in Bocaue buy-bust; 3 nabbed

(Eagle News)–Authorities seized P3.4 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Bulacan, the Philippine National Police said. According to the PNP, also nabbed in the operation along Macarthur Highway, Barangay Bunlo in Bocaue on May 18 were Jayson Falcon, Edwardo Elgarlino, and Sarah Panganiban. No other details were made available. PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao said the suspects will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.  

4.3-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Friday, May 20. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 5:12 p.m. The epicenter was 114 kilometers southeast of Tarragona. The depth of focus was 36 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
