4.7-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental early Tuesday

(Eagle News) — A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Tuesday, May 3. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 5:51 a.m. The epicenter was 403 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 14 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.  

4.3-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Sunday, May 1. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck at 10:10 a.m. The epicenter was 342 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 168 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.3-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Saturday, April 30. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 11:24 a.m. The epicenter was 307 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 81 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Wednesday, April 27. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 7 a.m. The epicenter was 115 kilometers southeast of Sarangani Island. The depth of focus of the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, was 68 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 6:14 a.m. The epicenter was 174 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 131 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.  

4.2-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Saturday, April 23. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 6:26 a.m. The epicenter was 355 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 226 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.2-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Friday, April 22. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake, an aftershock of the 5.5-magnitude earthquake on April 20, hit at 12:20 p.m. The epicenter was 140 kilometers southeast of Tarragona. The depth of focus was 75 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.  

6.1-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Oriental early Thursday, April 21

(Eagle News) — A 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Thursday, April 21. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 5:20 a.m. The epicenter was 226 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 141 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.  

5.9-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Tuesday, April 19. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 9:23 a.m. The epicenter was 54 kilometers southeast of Manay. The depth of focus was 49 kilometers. The following intensities were reported: Intensity II – Bansalan, Davao del Sur Damage to property and aftershocks were expected.
