The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake which hit at 3:28 a.m. was an aftershock of the 6.8-magnitude quake that hit Davao Occidental on November 21. (Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Quezon on Friday, Nov. 10. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 1:20 p.m. The epicenter was 33 kilometers northeast of Burdeos. The depth of focus was two kilometers. The following intensities and instrumental intensities were reported: Intensity Intensity II- Burdeos, Quezon Instrumental Intensities Intensity II – Polillo, Quezon Intensity I – Infanta, Quezon No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

PHIVOLCS: “Increased, continuous degassing activity” seen in Taal

(Eagle News)–A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Occidental Mindoro early Tuesday, Nov. 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:50 a.m. The epicenter was five kilometers northwest of Abra, Ilog. The depth of focus was 127 kilometers. The following instrumental intensity was reported: Intensity I – Mamburao and Abra De Ilog, Occidental Mindoro No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

4.6-magnitude earthquake hits Surigao del Norte early Friday, Nov. 3

(Eagle News)–A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte early Friday, Nov. 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 1:12 a.m. The epicenter was 23 kilometers northeast of Burgos. The depth of focus was 17 kilometers. The following linstrumental intensity was reported: Intensity I- Surigao City. Surigao del Norte No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Leyte on Monday, Oct. 30. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 7:13 p.m. Its epicenter was  six kilometers northeast of Kananga. According to PHIVOLCS, the depth of focus was 13 kilometers. The following instrumental intensity was reported: Intensity V – Ormoc City, Leyte No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.2-magnitude strikes off Davao de Oro early Sunday, Oct. 29

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude struck off Davao de Oro early Sunday, Oct. 29. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 2:52 a.m. The epicenter was 21 kilometers southeast of Maragusan. The depth of focus was eight kilometers. The instrumental intensity was reported: Intensity I – Nabunturan, Davao de Oro No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
