(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Sarangani early Friday, Feb. 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 1:45 a.m. It had its epicenter 27 kilometers southeast of Glan. It had a depth of 18 kilometers. (Eagle News) — A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Pangasinan on Thursday, Feb. 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 10:55 a.m. It had its epicenter 74 kilometers southwest of Agno. PHIVOLCS said the quake had a depth of four kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

PNP opens second molecular lab for COVID-19 testing in Davao City

(Eagle News) — The Philippine National Police has opened another molecular laboratory for COVID-19 testing in Davao City. The PNP said the lab, which will cater to Police Regional Offices in Western Mindanao, Southern Mindnao, SOCCSKSARGEN, Caraga, and Bangsangmoro Autonomous Region police personnel, non-uniformed personnel and their dependents, is the second in the city. It has a daily testing capacity of 170. Both molecular labs in Davao have a combined daily testing capacity of 320. […]
