Raps filed vs 6 Boracay tourists over forged COVID-19 test results

(Eagle News) — The Department of Tourism has filed a complaint against six tourists from Manila who present forged COVID-19 test results to get to Boracay. In a statement, the DOT said the six, who were caught in January, were charged for falsification of public documents. Of the six, three were found to be COVID-19-positive. DOTr: Construction of MRT-7 59.82 percent complete

(Eagle News) — Construction of the Metro Rail Transit-7 is 59.82 percent complete, the Department of Transportation said over the weekend. According to the DOTr, once operational, the 14-station MRT-7 is expected to cut short the travel time from North Avenue in Quezon City to San Jose Del Monte in Bulacan to just 35 minutes. 4.8-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Sunday, Feb. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 8:37 a.m., had its epicenter 229 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of 59 kilometers No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

PNP: P13.4 million worth of illegal drugs seized in separate ops in Cavite, Nueva Ecija

(Eagle News) — Former Olongapo Mayor Bong Gordon has passed away. His brother, Senator Richard Gordon, confirmed the news in a Senate session on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
