Borongan City in Eastern Samar now under MECQ

(Eagle News)–Seven people died after a Philippine Air Force chopper crashed in Bukidnon on Saturday, January 17. 4.5-magnitude earthquake hits Batangas

(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Saturday, January 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:48 a.m., had its epicenter 12 kilometers southwest of Calatagan. It had a depth of 135 kilometers.
