Taong 1897 nabuo ang Armed Forces of the Philippines o Sandatahang Lakas ng Pilipinas. Mandato ng Sandatahang Lakas ng Pilipinas ang “Pambansang Tagapagtanggol”, bantay sa seguridad ng Pilipinas at tumutulong sa mga tao sa oras ng sakuna.

APRUB-Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority
Ang Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority ang major seaport sa bansa at sa Southeast Asia. Ito ay nakabase sa Southwest ng Luzon sa Subic, Zambales. Sa bisa ng Republic Act 7227 inaatasan ang Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority na magpromote at magdevelop ng Subic Special Economic Zone sa larangan ng Industrial, Commercial, Financial and Investment Center para sa mga oppurtunidad ng pagkakaroon ng trabaho at makapaghikayat para sa productive foreign investment.
APRUB-Bureau of Fire Protection
Ang kawanihan ng pagtatanggol sa sunog o mas kilala bilang Bureau of Fire Protection ay itinatag noong Enero 29, 1991 sa ilalim ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG). Layon ng ahensyang ito na pigilan at apulahin ang apoy sa mga kabahayan, mga pampublikong gusali, transportasyon at iba pa. Sila rin ang nananagot na mag-imbestiga sa sanhi ng apoy.
APRUB – Department of Social Welfare and Development
Noong 1915 binuo ang DSWD kung saan Public Welfare Board o PWD ang naging unang pangalan nito. Taong 1976, ito ay ginawang Department of Social Service and Development (DSSD) sa bisa ng Presidential Decree No.944 sa ilalim ng pamumuno ng dating pangulong Ferdinand Marcos. Ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang siyang napro-protektahan at napa-pangalagaan ang kapwa mga Pilipino at mabawasan ang kahirapan.
